For this amount you will need two, 9 x 13 inch baking pans. Mix together the oatmeal and bran and toast in a 350Β° oven for 10 minutes.

Mix together the honey, oil, water and almond extract. Toss the honey mixture with seeds, add dates and nuts, if using. Then toss this together with oats mixture. Mix until well incorporated.

Return to the oven and bake for 20 minutes more, stirring every few minutes.
