Swedish Meatballs
Swedish Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 egg, 1/2 c. dried bread crumbs, 2 tbsp. grated onion and 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

About 45 minutes before serving, in medium bowl, mix first 5 ingredients and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
Shape beef mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot salad oil, cook meatballs until browned on all sides; removing meatballs to bowl as they brown.
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons dripping from skillet.
Cut cream cheese into chunks.
To drippings, add cream cheese, remaining ingredients, and 1/8 teaspoon salt; cook over low heat, stirring with wire whisk or spoon until melted and smooth.
Return meatballs to skillet; heat, stirring occasionally. Makes 4 main dish servings.
