Plecovnik(Ham Yeast Bread)
Plecovnik(Ham Yeast Bread) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. active dry yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 c. mashed boiled potatoes with 1/2 c. warm water and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Dissolve yeast water and 1 tablespoon sugar. Combine water, potato,
1 tablespoon sugar, salt and oil.
Add to the yeast.
1/2 cups flour and beat well.
Let batter rise in until bubbly, about 40 to 50 minutes.
Then add in flour one cup at a time.
Turn out on lightly floured surface.
Knead for about 5 minutes, place in greased bowl and grease top.
Let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk.
Punch down, turn on flour board or surface. Then two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans that have been greased.
Rise until double its bulk and bake in oven at 375Β° for 40 minutes.
Depends on your oven. Brush top with warm water or melted butter.
