πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions

Put cucumbers in brine.

Keep covered completely with brine or they will mold.

Let stand 2 weeks.

Take out of brine; wash and cut in thin slices.

Put a piece of alum or 1 teaspoon powdered in enough water to cover the slices.

Let stand overnight.

Drain and wash.

In a bag, tie cinnamon and whole cloves.

Add to vinegar and sugar.

Bring to boil and pour over slices.

Repeat 3 mornings.

On 4th morning, put slices in jars and pour the hot vinegar solution over them; seal.

Not necessary, but I usually process in hot bath for 5 minutes to insure sealing.
