Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread
Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. warm water (potato water if you have it), 2 pkg. yeast, 1 tsp. sugar, 3 1/2 c. flour and 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Place warm water, yeast and sugar in a bowl and let bubble. Place in a large mixing bowl and mix well the flour, sugar and salt.
While mixer is running, pour in yeast mixture and beat on medium speed for 3 or more minutes.
Add eggs, butter and raisins. Mix for 1 more minute.
Change to dough hook.
Add 3 cups more flour in 1/2 cup increments until dough clings to hook, but is not dry.
(This should take about 5 minutes.)
Place dough in greased bowl and grease top.
Cover and let rise until doubled.
Punch down and let rise again about 30 minutes.
Turn out on floured surface and divide into 3 equal parts.
Flatten dough and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar; roll up.
Grease top of loaf, cover and let rise until doubled.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
