Chewy Oatmeal Fruit Bars
Chewy Oatmeal Fruit Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. rolled oats, 1 c. whole wheat flour, 1 c. apple juice concentrate, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1 c. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix oats, flour and apple juice in a large bowl until lumps are gone.
Stir in cinnamon and raisins.
Mix vanilla in the warm water and add, mixing well.
Stir in banana and optional dried fruit.
Let stand 15 or 20 minutes.
Mix again and pour into nonstick 8-inch square pan.
Bake at 325° or 350° for 1 hour or until browned.
Makes 16 servings.
