Sweet Potato Crisps
Sweet Potato Crisps is an easy dinner. Made with 3 large sweet potatoes (about 2 lb.), peeled, vegetable oil (for deep frying) and salt to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Using vegetable peeler, cut potatoes into paper thin strips. In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat or in an electric skillet, heat 1-inch vegetable oil to 400Β° (see note).
Drop handful of potato strips into hot oil; fry about 2 minutes until crisp and golden.
Using slotted spoon, remove to paper towels to drain. Repeat with remaining potatoes.
Sprinkle lightly with salt to serve.
