Sole Gratin
Sole Gratin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sliced mushrooms, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1 lb. sole or lean fish fillet and 1/2 c. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 425Β°.
Place mushrooms in ungreased 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with 1/2 of salt and pepper. Arrange fish fillets over mushrooms; sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper.
Pour wine around fish.
Mix remaining ingredients and spread over top of fish.
Bake, uncovered, until fish fillets flake easily with fork (15 to 20 minutes).
Makes 4 servings, each containing 215 calories, 9 grams fat and 35 milligrams cholesterol.
