Pepper Turkey Skillet
Pepper Turkey Skillet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. turkey or chicken cutlets, 2 tbsp. sesame oil, divided, 1 c. low sodium chicken broth, 3 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce and 2 pkg. lo-cal sweetener (i recommend sweet one), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Slice turkey into 1/8-inch thick pieces.
In a small bowl combine broth, soy sauce and sweetener.
In a large skillet, heat to medium and add one tablespoon oil.
Add half turkey and stir-fry 2 or 3 minutes.
Remove turkey; add rest of oil and turkey. Stir-fry until lightly browned.
Remove turkey.
Add vegetables to same skillet, stirring occasionally for 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir sauce mixture into the vegetables, stirring until combined.
Add turkey and cook until tender.
In a glass measuring cup, combine water and cornstarch.
Stir into turkey mixture and bring to a boil. Contains approximately 275 calories.
