Low Sodium Orange Glazed Chicken
Low Sodium Orange Glazed Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 lb.) broiler-fryer, cut up, 2 tbsp. margarine (unsalted), 1/2 c. water, 2 tsp. orange peel, grated and 1/2 c. dark corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Sprinkle cut-up chicken with seasoning salt and pepper.
In a skillet over medium heat, in margarine, saute chicken until golden. Add oregano, orange peel, orange juice, corn syrup and water. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until tender, basting several times.
Use parsley sprigs as garnish.
