Peel and slice kohlrabi.

Take green, young leaves off stems and separately with boiling salt water. Drain water.

Cooked leaves aside and chop finely. Cook sliced kohlrabi in salt water for a few minutes. Do not overcook.

Crisco, onion and parsley; add flour. Brown slightly; kohlrabi water or beef broth or just plain water to make a sauce.

Add bouillon cube, stirring constantly over low needed, add salt and pepper to taste. Add kohlrabi slices.

Carefully stir so as not to break up slices. Let come to a low boil for only a minute. Serve with beef steak and fried potatoes.
