Broccoli Haters Broccoli is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tsp. olive oil, 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves, minced, 1 tbsp. water and 4 c. broccoli flowerets (1 medium head), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In heavy 12-inch skillet, heat olive oil for 1 minute.
Add onion, garlic, water, broccoli, pepper, oregano and pepper flakes. Cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes.
Cover skillet, reduce heat to low and cook 8 to 9 minutes longer, stirring often until tender, but crisp.
