Beef Burgundy
Beef Burgundy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 lb. beef round steak (1/4-inch thick), 1/4 c. flour, 4 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1 tbsp. finely snipped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut steak into bite-size cubes.
Shake with the flour to coat, being sure all flour is used.
Melt butter or margarine in skillet.
Brown steak pieces on all sides.
Remove from heat.
Add onion, parsley, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
Stir in mushrooms, Burgundy and water.
Heat mixture to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 1 hour, or until meat is tender. Remove bay leaf.
