Yorkshire Puffs
Yorkshire Puffs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. flour and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine salt and water in saucepan.
Add shortening and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium and add flour all at once, stirring vigorously until ball forms.
Cool slightly.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition until smooth.
(Mixture should be very stiff.)
Brown beef and drain off drippings.
Add beef and thyme to flour mixture, blending thoroughly.
Heat oil to 365Β°.
Drop puffs by teaspoonfuls into the oil and fry until golden.
Makes about 80.
