Whole Wheat Bread
Whole Wheat Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unbleached white flour, 1/2 c. dry quick oats or any other, 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. dry yeast or 1 pkg., this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix 1 1/2 cups unbleached white flour, 1/2 cup oats, salt and yeast.
Mix well.
Add honey and hot water.
Beat 200 strokes, 1 to 2 minutes.
Use all of the whole wheat flour, mixing thoroughly. Let dough rise 10 to 15 minutes.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup white flour on dough, coating all sides, scraping the bowl side, so flour will coat dough.
Put on table, knead 10 to 15 minutes, until dough bounces back.
Shape in rolls or a loaf.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
