Whole Wheat Bread
Whole Wheat Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. natural whole wheat flour, ground fine, 3 1/2 c. white flour, 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 3/4 c. warm water and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Combine wheat and white flours.
In 1/2 cup lukewarm water, add a pinch of brown sugar and flour and packages of yeast.
Let mixture rise until 4 times in volume.
Add all remaining ingredients; mix.
Fold in yeast.
Add rest of liquid; knead for 10 minutes.
Put in greased bowl; cover and place in warm oven until bread has doubled in size.
Punch down; divide and place in 2 greased pans.
Let rise again until doubled. Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove from pans to cool.
