Swedish Meatballs
Swedish Meatballs is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 c. plain bread crumbs, 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. ground allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In large bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, salt, allspice, ground black pepper, nutmeg, milk and egg.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
In a large skillet, heat oil until hot.
Add meatballs, brown on all sides.
Remove from pan.
Set aside.
To the drippings in skillet, stir flour until smooth.
Gradually add beef broth, cream and a pinch of pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Add meatballs, reduce heat and simmer, covered, until meatballs are cooked through, approximately 15 minutes.
Yields 50 meatballs.
