Sourdough Bread
Sourdough Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. instant potato flakes, 2 1/2 c. warm water, 2 pkg. rapidrise yeast and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Grease a large bowl.
In another bowl, mix all ingredients and make a stiff batter.
Place dough in greased bowl and brush some oil on top of the dough.
Cover with a cloth and let set in warm place until it doubles.
Do not refrigerate!
Push dough down and knead well.
Divide into 3 or 4 loaves.
Knead each loaf 8 to 10 times.
Place in greased loaf pans.
Oil top of each loaf.
Cover and let rise until just about doubled.
Bake at 300Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Bread will sound hollow when done.
Remove from pans. Brush with butter or margarine and let cool on wire rack.
