Mushroom Salad(France)
Mushroom Salad(France) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, juice of 1 lemon, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper and bibb lettuce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Clean mushrooms; wash in cold water to which vinegar has been added.
Dry in a cloth; slice.
To keep mushrooms from turning black, sprinkle with lemon juice.
Toss lightly but thoroughly with mixture of mayonnaise, garlic, salt and pepper. Place in refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours; mixture will become moist from juice of mushrooms.
Stir lightly several times during chilling. Serve on a bed of bibb lettuce and parsley.
Yields 10 to 12 servings.
