Meatballs with Lemon Sauce
Meatballs With Lemon Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef or turkey, 1/2 c. italian bread crumbs, 1 egg, beaten, 1 tsp. grated lemon rind and 2 beef bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine first 4 ingredients.
Shape into 12 (1 1/2-inch) balls.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; reduce heat. Add meatballs to bouillon.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Remove meatballs and keep warm.
Add lemon juice to bouillon.
Dissolve cornstarch in cold water.
Gradually stir into bouillon.
Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
Remove from heat. Add yolk to bouillon mixture, stirring constantly.
Pour sauce over meatballs and serve.
