Lebanese White Cheese
Lebanese White Cheese is an easy dinner. Made with 1 gallon homogenized milk and 1 cheese rennet tablet, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In a heavy saucepan heat the milk to about 90Β° (dip baby finger in milk until you can withstand a count to 10). Dissolve 1 cheese tablet in 1 ounce warm water.
Stir into milk and cover. Cover with a blanket and let rest 1 1/2 hours.
Place cheese cloth into strainer and pour milk mixture in gently.
Mold cheese into hand sized balls. Sprinkle with salt and place in container with 7 ice cubes.
Allow to cool and then refrigerate.
