Kostar Laddu
Kostar laddu is a festive Indian sweet of roasted gram flour, ghee, sugar, coconut, nuts, and cardamom rolled into tender golden balls. Serve it after meals or with tea when a rich bite is welcome.

Toast gram flour slowly in ghee until nutty and deeper gold.
Stir in coconut, chopped cashews, raisins, cardamom, and a pinch of salt.
Cool the mixture until warm, then mix in powdered sugar or fine jaggery.
Press and roll the mixture into compact balls while it is still pliable.
Let the laddus set on a tray and garnish with poppy seeds or nut slivers.
