Jerky
Jerky is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. venison, 1/2 c. soy sauce, 1/2 c. worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp. accent and 2 tsp. seasoned salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a container, mix all seasonings.
Dissolve in water.
Have venison cut in 3/8-inch strips.
Place the strips of meat in the marinade; be sure meat is completely covered.
Let set overnight, turning if necessary.
Lay marinated strips on oven rack.
Cook for 6 to 8 hours at 150Β°.
They get crispier the longer they bake. Store finished jerky in Ziploc bags or other airtight containers to seal in freshness.
Jerky will keep up to 2 years.
