Potatoes whole with skins on.
While potatoes are cooking, bacon in a skillet until crisp.
Remove bacon bits from skillet.
Bacon fat, brown onions until almost black.
Off fat.
Peel and coarsely chop hot potatoes. Add bacon onions and butter to potatoes.
Mix well. Serve as a side dish with meat and gravy.
