European Chocolate Cake
European Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 oz. bittersweet chocolate (european chocolate), 5 oz. unsalted butter, 5 egg whites and 5 egg yolks, 2/3 c. granulated sugar and 1/4 c. almonds, ground very fine (use toasted blanched almonds), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Grate or shave the chocolate so that it will melt uniformly. Melt butter until fully melted and very hot, then stir in the chocolate and continue to stir until the chocolate is melted. Whisk sugar and egg yolks together until light and then whisk into the chocolate/butter mixture until smooth.
Then whisk in flours and continue to whisk until batter is smooth.
Beat egg whites until they hold a stiff peak.
Briskly stir 2 heaping tablespoonfuls of beaten egg white into your chocolate mixture, then fold in remaining.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes in a 9-inch Bundt pan.
