Curried Lobster
Curried Lobster is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 frozen lobster tails (4-oz each), 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 3 tbsp. all purpose flour and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Partially thaw lobster tails.
Using knife, butterfly tails (cut down center of back and open wide, do not cut under membrane). Place on broiler pan, shell side down.
Dash a few drops of bottled hot pepper sauce into melted butter; brush over meat.
Broil 4-inches from heat until meat loses its translucency and can be flaked with a fork, about 17 minutes for a 6 to 8 ounce tail. Loosen meat; serve with butter and lemon.
