Beat egg white in saucer until spreadable.

A few drops of water may be added if needed.

Using a small paint brush, cover every surface of a leaf with egg white in as thin as possible a layer.

Tweezers will help to hold them.

As you coat each leaf, lay it on the sugar and sprinkle more sugar over it until evenly coated.

Lay on cake rack that has been covered with wax paper. Set rack in warm, dry place (oven heated pilot light) and dry for several days.

Store in layers between waxed paper.

Keep dry.
