Crumbed Mushrooms
Crumbed Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. mushrooms, 1 small onion, salt and pepper, 2 tbsp. dry sherry and 3 oz. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Choose small mushrooms about the same size.
Wash and trim off hard end of stems.
Peel onion, chop finely, and saute in 1/2 ounce butter until transparent.
Add whole mushrooms, salt, pepper and dry sherry; simmer gently 5 to 8 minutes.
Drain and cool. Dip in beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and fry quickly in remaining hot butter until crisp and golden brown.
Serves 4.
