Chicken Cordon Bleu
Chicken Cordon Bleu is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 or 5 boned chicken breast halves, 4 or 5 slices boiled ham, 4 or 5 slices swiss cheese, 1 c. crushed potato chips and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Pound chicken breasts out to 1/4-inch thick.
Wrap each breast around 1 slice of ham and slice of cheese.
Secure ends with a toothpick.
Roll each secured chicken breast in potato chips.
In skillet, lightly brown in butter.
Place in a casserole dish.
Mix soup, sour cream, sherry and mushrooms.
Pour sauce over chicken, cover and bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
