Vodka Sauce(For Pasta)
Vodka Sauce(For Pasta) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 2 medium onions, diced, 1 c. diced tomatoes, 1 c. tomato sauce and italian spices (i.e. garlic, oregano, etc.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Saute diced onions in butter until soft in a large saucepan. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and spices.
Cover and bring to a boil.
Uncover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring often, at low heat.
Remove from heat and slowly add heavy cream, stirring constantly.
Mix completely.
Slowly add vodka.
Return to heat, low, and simmer 30 minutes.
Serve over pasta (bow ties, rotini or penne).
