Turkey Swedish Meatballs
Turkey Swedish Meatballs is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. minced onion, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 tbsp. water, 1 lb. ground turkey and 1/2 c. bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine onion, garlic and water in casserole.
Microwave, covered, on High for 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes, until onion is tender.
Add turkey, crumbs, egg, milk and pepper.
Blend well. Roll into 1-inch balls, place in casserole, cover with waxed paper, then cook on High for 6 to 8 minutes.
Remove from casserole.
Add margarine to casserole, melt on High for 30 to 60 seconds.
Blend flour and mace with butter.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook on High for 3 to 5 minutes, until thickened.
Stir occasionally.
Add wine and meat balls, stir, then cook on High 2 to 4 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
