Tenderloin
Tenderloin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 lb. beef or pork tenderloin strips, 3/4 lb. thinly sliced deli ham, chopped chives, 3/4 lb. bacon and garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Make small cuts in the tenderloin inserting slivers of garlic. Roll in chopped chives.
Place uncut bacon strips on foil.
Place ham slices on top of the bacon strips.
Next place your tenderloin on the ham.
Roll up the tenderloin in the ham.
Stick toothpicks into the strips to hold the meat together.
Wrap in the foil. Place in the oven for 1 hour or 45 minutes on a grill (if using a grill, use indirect heat).
Let set 10 minutes before serving.
