Swiss Fondue
Swiss Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. monterey jack or swiss cheese, grated, 1 lb. cheddar or gruyere cheese, grated, 6 tbsp. flour, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix together grated cheese, flour, salt, nutmeg and minced garlic.
Heat buttermilk until it bubbles and gradually add by handfuls the grated cheese mixture, allowing each handful to melt before adding another and stirring constantly with a strong wire whisk.
Serve with warmed squares of French or sourdough bread. Also great with bite sized pieces of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, etc.
Serves 8 easily.
