Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. large mushrooms (about 8), 1/2 c. butter or oleo, 1/2 c. minced onion, 2 tbsp. chopped parsley and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Remove stems from mushrooms.
Firmly chop stems.
Reserve mushroom caps.
In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat in hot butter or oleo, cook stems, onion, garlic, parsley, salt and oregano until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Mix in bread crumbs and cheese.
Spoon mixture into mushroom caps.
Place, stuffed side up, on a rack in broiler pan. Broil 8 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
