Stuffed Green Peppers
Stuffed Green Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 large green bell peppers, 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. onion, chopped, 3 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped and 2 c. cooked rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut top out of the bell peppers and take seeds out; set aside.
Boil for 5 minutes in salty water.
Cook ground beef, onions and pepper until ground beef is brown and onions tender. Add chopped tomatoes; simmer for about 4 minutes or until tomatoes are cooked.
Drain off liquid.
Stir in rice, salt, basil and pepper.
Stuff peppers with the meat mixture.
Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Toss together bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle on top of peppers.
Cook in 350Β° oven.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
