Sauteed Chicken in Red Wine Vinegar
Sauteed Chicken In Red Wine Vinegar is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 46 minutes. Made with c. butter, c. diced onion, whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned and halved, c. red wine vinegar and c. whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt butter in heavy skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and saute until very soft, 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove with slotted spoon.
Increase heat to medium-high.
Add chicken and cook until golden brown and juices run clear when pierced with tip of a knife.
Remove chicken.
Add vinegar and boil until reduced to 2/3, 1 to 2 minutes.
Add cream and boil until thickened, 3 to 4 minutes.
Return onion and chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over.
Serve hot.
