Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
Heat milk to lukewarm.
Cream butter and sugar together; add well beaten eggs and mix.
Add salt to flour (add a pinch of cardamom for special flavor).
Stir flour into butter-sugar mixture alternately with milk-yeast mixture (after yeast has softened in lukewarm water about 5 minutes combine with lukewarm milk before adding to flour).
Beat well with wooden spoon or power mixer.
Turn into oiled bowl.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Beat again and pour into Bundt pan.
Let rise again; bake 45 minutes at 350Β°.
If top gets brown too soon, cover with aluminum foil for rest of time.
