Pork Chop with Sauerkraut
Pork Chop With Sauerkraut is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. sauerkraut, 1 lb. new potatoes, 1 tbsp. oil, 4 thick pork chops and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Rinse the sauerkraut in water and drain.
Cut the potatoes in half.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the chops with salt and pepper and brown on both sides. Remove.
Put potatoes in the same pan, cut side down and brown. Remove.
Pour in the water and scrape up any browned bits on the bottom of pan.
Add sauerkraut, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and the caraway.
Top with chops and potatoes, pressing them into the sauerkraut.
Lower the heat, cover the pan and simmer until the chops are very tender, about 40 minutes.
