Polish Meat Loaf
Polish Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 tsp. butter, 1 1/2 lb. lean pork, ground, 1/2 lb. coarsely ground veal, 1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme and 1 garlic clove, finely chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Lightly grease a 2-pound loaf tin with the butter.
Set aside.
Put all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir to blend them thoroughly.
Spoon the mixture into a loaf tin.
Place the tin in a large tin, half filled with cold water. Place the tin in the center of the oven; bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, or until the meat loaf has shrunk away from the sides of the tin.
After removing from oven, leave this meat loaf in the tin for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cooled slightly.
Pour off any fat.
