Polish Chruseiki
Polish Chruseiki is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 6 tbsp. granulated sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3 tbsp. rum or vodka (optional) and 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Beat eggs until thick; add sugar, salt and rum or vodka. Combine flour and baking powder and place on a flat surface.
Make a well in the center.
Add butter.
Blend together, using tips of fingers.
Build up mixture and pour eggs-sugar liquid into the center.
Using a fork, start stirring the liquid, adding the flour mixture into it, a little at a time.
Knead dough until smooth. (Dough tends to be sticky, but do not add additional flour, unless necessary.)
Turn dough over at first with a pastry scraper.
Cut dough into 4 parts and roll out paper thin on a lightly floured board.
