Oven Dried Jerky
Oven Dried Jerky is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. venison, 1/4 c. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Trim and discard all fat from meat.
Cut meat into 1/4-inch strips and cut across grain.
Mix remaining ingredients together. Stir and dissolve as much as possible.
Add meat.
Mix thoroughly and coat meat well.
Let stand 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cover center of oven racks with aluminum foil.
Arrange meat strips on oven racks.
Dry at lowest temperature until hard (4 to 7 hours) or overnight, depending on thickness of meat.
