Okra Pickles
Okra Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 lb. small okra pods, 4 to 5 garlic buds, peeled, 3 small hot peppers, chopped, 2 tsp. dill seed and 1 pt. distilled white vinegar (4 to 6% acidity), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Wash and pack okra down in hot, sterilized jars.
Put a garlic bud, some hot pepper pieces and some dill seed in each jar.
Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil; pour into jars and seal at once. Let ripen for several weeks before opening.
Makes 4 to 5 pints.
