Monkey Bread
Monkey Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. lukewarm water, 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. scalded milk and 2 beaten eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix milk, potatoes, shortening, sugar and salt in large bowl; cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast softened in water.
Add eggs; add 1 1/2 cups of flour and beat well.
Add more flour; beat.
Add more flour to make a stiff dough.
Turn out on a board and knead thoroughly.
Place dough in a greased bowl; grease top of dough; cover and let rise for 2 hours.
Turn out on floured board and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut into 2-inch diamond shapes.
Pull on opposite ends to elongate.
Dip in melted butter and lay alternately in buttered ring mold.
Let rise until double.
Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes.
