Mints is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. light corn syrup, 1/4 c. milk, 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar and peppermint extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In 2-quart glass measuring cup, combine sugar, corn syrup, milk and cream of tartar.
Cook on High 5 to 6 minutes or until a few drops of mixture in cold water forms a soft ball (238Β° on candy thermometer).
Let stand 3 minutes to cool slightly.
Beat with electric mixer until creamy.
Flavor with 8 to 10 drops extract and color with food coloring.
Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto foil.
When cool, store in airtight container. Makes approximately 36 servings.
