Meat Sauce for Spaghetti
Meat Sauce For Spaghetti is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 c. dried mushrooms, 1/4 c. olive oil, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 c. onion, chopped and 1 lb. ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Soak mushrooms in water for about 15 minutes; drain and chop. Heat olive oil in heavy saucepan and saute garlic and onion until golden.
Toss the beef with flour; add to onion.
Add wine.
Cook over high heat a few minutes.
Mix in mushrooms, tomatoes, tomato paste, bouillon, salt, pepper and bay leaf.
Cook over low heat 1 1/2 hours.
During the last 1/2 hour of cooking, add basil and Italian seasoning.
