Mary's Mushroom Soup
Mary'S Mushroom Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 onions, finely chopped, 2 1/4 oz. butter, 2 garlic cloves, crushed, 1 lb. 2 oz. mushrooms, chopped and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt butter in large pan.
Add onion and garlic, stirring over medium heat until onion is soft (about 3 minutes).
Mix in mushrooms and stir about 5 minutes.
Add flour and stir for another minute.
Pour in milk and beef stock, stirring well until combined and bring to a boil; reduce heat to low.
Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until mixture has reduced, is thickened and mushrooms are tender.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream.
