Marinated London Broil
Marinated London Broil is an easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. dry red wine, 1/3 c. olive oil or salad oil, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 1/8 tsp. each: crumbled oregano, crumbled marjoram and pepper and 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 lb. flank steak, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix the wine, oil, soy sauce, oregano, marjoram and pepper. Place steak in a deep bowl; pour marinade over it.
Cover; chill at least 12 to 18 hours, turning meat once or twice.
(Much easier if you use the Tupperware marinating covered container and just turn over several times during the 12 to 18 hours).
(Or, you may use a large Ziploc bag to marinate steak in instead of bowl.)
