Linguine with White Clam Sauce

Drain clams and reserve juice.
Boil linguine in salted water. Spoon olive oil over moderate heat in saucepan.
Add shallots and saute 3 minutes.
Stir in garlic, oregano and hot pepper.
Cook 30 seconds.
Stir in flour for 10 seconds.
Pour in wine and 2/3 cup of clam juice.
Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes.
Add clams with 1/4 cup of parsley and Parmesan.
Stir in butter and remove from heat.
Toss pasta with sauce.
