Lemon-Herbed Turkey Breast
Lemon-Herbed Turkey Breast is an easy dinner. Made with 1 large lemon, 1 turkey breast (approximately 5 lb.), sprigs of fresh herbs (such as sage, rosemary, oregano, basil or thyme), 2 to 3 sprigs parsley and 1 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 325°.
With a fork, prick surface of lemon. Place in cavity of turkey breast along with fresh herbs.
Place flour in oven cooking bag and shake.
Place prepared turkey breast in bag.
Close bag securely.
Make 6 (1/2-inch) slits in top of bag to allow steam to escape.
Place in a shallow pan large enough to hold turkey breast comfortably.
Roast at 325° for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until a meat thermometer placed in thickest muscle, without touching a bone, reaches 170°.
If fresh herbs are unavailable, use 1/4 teaspoon each of dried herbs.
