Helen's Salmon Loaf
Helen'S Salmon Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can salmon, drained, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery and 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and line with greased wax paper, 1 loaf pan.
Drain salmon. Discard skin and bones.
Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Stir in bread crumbs; remove from heat.
In a bowl, blend eggs, bread crumbs mixture, milk, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
Fold in salmon and lemon juice.
Bake in prepared loaf pan 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Loosen around edges by running a knife around sides of pan.
Invert salmon loaf onto platter. Carefully remove wax paper. Garnish loaf with lemon slices and celery sprigs.
